- Cloudflare Turnstile: We use Cloudflare Turnstile as a CAPTCHA solution to protect our website from bots and spam. Turnstile may collect information about your device and interaction with the CAPTCHA challenge to determine if you are a human user. - Amplitude: We use Amplitude for analytics, as described above. Amplitude's use of your information is governed by their privacy policy, which you can find here: https://amplitude.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare, Inc. as our content delivery network (CDN) and security provider. To provide the Service, all data traffic between you and our website is routed through Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare helps us improve performance, security, and reliability by analyzing traffic, mitigating malicious attacks, and caching content. As part of this process, Cloudflare processes information from your browser and device, including your IP address. 3. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With Other Users: Your public posts, username, your first and last name, profile picture, and "about" section are visible to other users on your profile page. The visibility of files you upload depends on the privacy setting of the post they are associated with:
- Public: Content and files in public posts are visible and discoverable by anyone.
- Unlisted and Private: Content and files in unlisted or private posts are not publicly discoverable on our platform. However, they are accessible to anyone who has the direct link. You are responsible for keeping these links private.
- With Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., hosting providers, email providers). These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- With Google (AdSense): As described above, we share information with Google for advertising purposes, subject to your consent.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process. - With our Content Delivery Network (Cloudflare): We share information with Cloudflare, which acts as our CDN and security layer. All of your traffic is routed through their network when you use our Service, as described in Section 1.
4. Your Choices
- Account Information: You can update or delete your account information at any time by logging into your account settings.
- Cookies: You can manage your cookie preferences through our Cookie Consent Banner. You can also generally configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. However, some features of the Service may not function properly without cookies.
- Email Communications: You can opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails. We may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
- Do Not Track: We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals from web browsers.
- Location Information: You have complete control over whether to share your location with individual posts. You can choose to enable or disable location sharing for each post you create.
- Analytics Opt-Out: You can opt-out of Amplitude data collection by following the instructions provided in Amplitude's privacy policy (linked in Section 1.3).
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA and GDPR-K Compliance)
Zametka.com is committed to protecting the privacy of children. Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 18 (or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction). If you are under 18, you MUST NOT use this website without verifiable consent from your parent or legal guardian. Zametka.com is based in Paris, France, and is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are accessing our Service from outside of France, including from the United States or other countries, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in France, where our servers are located and our central database is operated. Furthermore, essential service providers, such as our content delivery network (Cloudflare), may process your data on their global network in accordance with their privacy policies, which may include processing in the United States and other countries.
The data protection laws of France and the European Union may differ from those of your jurisdiction. By using our Service, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer, storage, and processing of your information in France, subject to the protections afforded by the GDPR.

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create and submit to Zametka.com (including blog posts, comments, uploaded files, profile picture, and "about" section text). You are solely responsible for ensuring that this content does not infringe upon the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of third parties. Zametka.com will not use your content for any purpose other than providing and improving the Service, displaying it as you have directed (e.g., making a post public or private), complying with legal obligations, and enforcing our Terms of Service (which includes our copyright infringement policies and procedures). 9. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. We will delete your personal data upon your request to terminate your account, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain information.
Furthermore, in accordance with our Terms of Service, we may delete accounts, along with all associated personal data, due to prolonged inactivity. We will attempt to notify you via the email address on file before deleting your account for this reason.
We may retain some anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.
